We usually read something about SOLAR TECHNOLOGY in Pakistan. How about use of Geothermal Energy in Pakistan.
Is there anyone having information about Geothermal plants in Pakistan?

The Chinese panel  are available at 70/watts ranging from 100 watts to 200watts panels.
 
China with all its high production/low cost is not been able to produce more than 1% electricity from solar panels!
We must identify the right application and right place to produce solar based electricity. Unfortunately, no technical survey /mapping/feasibility has been conducted by the govt sector leaving the right application of this technology unattended.AEDB is the organization   having deep rooted corruption and obvious incompetency and national level academic organization are silent spectator on the subject.

Br. Anzar,

The issue is not whether or not its possible to access YT by exploiting a loophole, the issue is the governments complete lack of interest in its citizens plight. Behavior like this on their part pushes us to circumventing the law (as you suggest) and consequently the younger generations develop an even more profound disdain for it.

A simple proxy setup, and you can use YouTube in Pakistan, I have seen kids doing it in Pakistan.

I
totally agree with this. Back when Youtube was open, I took
3 courses from coursera.org. But as soon as
Youtube was blocked, me and countless bright students were
deprived of such a beneficial program.

Quality vs Quantity argument has no ends. Simply put: we need both.

If the Supervisor is OK to take the student and University is OK to take the student even if he/she has CGPA<3.0 than HEC should have no objection. Admission of a student is at strictly University's discretion. HEC should focus on specifying the quality criterion of the research produced and ask the Universities to implement those criterion. What's wrong with that?

As far as HEC is concerned I thing some rules regarding PhD need to be revised, primary focus or you can say all attention should be on research instead of Course work then comprehensive. 18 years of education are enough for course work. Why don't we have proper representation of the concerns related with academia besides writing emails . Do we have any union ? Should we form such forum with some leaders and regular members ?
