[pakgrid] Job opportunity at USC/ISI on dynamic network analysis

The University of Southern California’s Information Sciences Institute (ISI) is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate for a project exploring the theoretical and computational foundations of dynamic network analysis. A successful candidate is expected to be proficient in both analytic and computational techniques and apply them to large-scale data. The candidate should have a strong mathematical background, preferably in the area of graph theory or network analysis, and experience with statistical data analysis. The candidate will be expected to apply the methods developed over the course of the project to large-scale real-world social, biological, and other networks. A PhD in computer science, statistics, or mathematics is required.

ISI, located in beautiful Marina del Rey, is a research lab that is part of the Viterbi School of Engineering at USC. In addition to spectacular views, ISI provides a stimulating research environment (http://www.isi.edu).

Please contact Kristina Lerman (lerman@isi.edu) for further inquiries.
