I had my first Hughes, called Directway in 2003 in a parking lot in Gila Bend, Arizona. Where do you find these VARs now? I looked on this site at RayHounds list of trusted installers, but could get nothing to come up.

Are you looking for someone to buy a dish system from (aka a dealer), or an actual Hughes VAR you can get HughesNet service from? They're not the same.
