Thanks for your response, Don. Last night I decided to bite the bullet and reset the modem. Surprisingly the problem message was gone and everything was working just fine!!! I remember in the early days the way to solve some problems was to just go away and come back later. Apparently, it still works! I don't know what happened, but I used the computer on wi-fi several times and rebooted the computer when I shut down and restarted at another library. That is the only thing I did that varied from my normal routine. At any rate, the problem is no more and I hope it stays that way.
