Best IT Innovation Awards (BITA) 2012, is an awards competition for the
best ideas in the information technology arena, from the academia and
industry. One award each of Rs. 1 Million will be awarded to the best
project/proposal idea in the following three categories:
- Students
- Faculty members
- Industry professionals/Self-employed
Details of the awards are available at the BITA website at
http://bita.fit.edu.pk as well as in the attached call for proposals.
Proposals are invited in each of the above categories, on the prescribed
forms available for download at the website.
Deadline for proposal submissions is 15th September.
Top three proposals in each category will be invited to present their
ideas during the 10th International Conference on the Frontiers of
Information Technology (FIT 2012), to be held in Serena Hotel, Islamabad,
from Dec. 17-19.
The results of the awards will be announced on 19th December.
