6 Research Fellow positions are available at the Department of Economics.
The appointments are for a period of 3-4 years, depending on the teaching load. Research Fellows are expected to participate in the Faculty´s doctoral programme, with the aim of completing a doctoral degree within the appointment period.
3 positions are related to ESOP (Centre for the study of Equality, Social Organization, and Performance). Candidates for these positions should have a research interest in areas such as comparative welfare state arrangements, macroeconomics, international economics, mechanisms of social mobility, studies of institutional arrangements, forms of redistribution and labor organization.
2 positions are associated with Oslo Fiscal Studies (OFS), a centre based on cooperation among the Department of Economics at the University of Oslo, Statistics Norway, and the Ragnar Frisch Centre for Economic Research. The overall objective of OFS is to expand the volume and enhance the quality of research and teaching in public economics.
1 position is not linked to specific topics or research projects, and the student can choose his/her own projects freely.
