[pakgrid] Re: Academic Alert

I am in total agreement and have had similar observations in the areas of Microwave Engineering, Electronics, and some other areas. Quite often 'Simple' does not imply 'accurate'. Nice point raised by Dr. Nasrullah. This does not mean a total rejection of Indian texts but to watch out for texts doing the job of ruining the correct concepts in a search for simplicity.

In many private and public sector universities material science background teachers teach electrical engineering courses. They do not know the difference therefore recommend students easy/simple Indian written books.

They got this chance for acute shortage of power electrical engineers in Pakistan. My job done now over to you......
