[pakgrid] [CAST] CAST Technology Resource Portal Launch

Dear Fellow Researchers,

We believe that collaboration is the cornerstone of research excellence.
When more minds join together to solve a research issue – sharing an
array of expertise and competence – the findings are indisputably
astounding.

In the same essence Center for Advanced Studies in Telecommunication
(CAST), COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) has
introduced CAST Technology Resource Portal (CASTech Resource) - in the
Downloads Section on its website.

http://www.cast.org.pk/Downloads.aspx

Through this gesture we have reiterated our open arms collaboration
policy to further the cause of science and technology for the benefit of
all community aiming at product-centric research.

We have shared sample of our exclusive work including implemented
algorithms and intuitive programs to help aid our fellow researchers in
their pursuit of knowledge. The shared material includes ready to be
implemented algorithms for Low Power RFID protocols, DS-CDMA, GSM speech
codecs and bioinformatic tools. Further included in downloads is WiCAST™
– a state of the art indigenous WiMAX testbed that fully encompasses and
complies with the IEEE 802.16 d/e standards and addresses the
technological issues such as coping rapidly changing channel
synchronization and multiple antenna systems with solutions from latest
published research.

We urge you to visit our website and take a look at CASTech Resource at
your earliest.

Please send you kind feedback, queries or suggestions at
cast.it@comsats.edu.pk.

Thank you for your precious time,

Sincerely,
Dr. Naeem Zafar Azeemi
