If you log into Hughes version of Web Mail
http://webmail.hughes.net/ mail?nimlet= showlogin
Enter user email address the your password of your primary e-mail account if you have more than one, and then scroll down to the bottom of the items under MY DASHBOARD there is an item named MAIL click on that and you can see Mail Quota: The amount of space available which can be used for storage.
If you have been leaving your email on the server you have filled the storage for that account. Easy to do if you are picking up your mail with a email program and have set the preferences to leave mail on the server.
If that is the case on MY DASHBOARD open the INBOX as well as the SPAM folder and if you have items in there decide if you want to delete them or not, if your Mail storage space remains ful your e-mail will go to the never never land until space is available.
If you have multiple Hughes net accounts check them all.

I sent this to abuse@hughes.net . I've been receiving quite a few similar
messages from a "Hughes Administrator" lately. Has anyone else, or am I just
the spam target?

Domian name response

This morning I am having great difficutly in connecting to a couple web
sites for example AA.com as well as one or two others. I get a 501 Domian
name failure or time out. On the otherhand I do shoot right on through to
many other sites.
I'm on chat with friends and they get through to the sites I am having
difficulty with.
It just started this morning... I'm on D16 990
Any ideas?

For all the bitching about Hughes that I've done here and there, it is only fair to proclaim my amazement this morning when I noticed a roughly 30% increase in my average download speeds! WOW! I read somewhere that Hughes had been doing some tweaking. Well, GOOD JOB, guys. I'm on 117/990 and my downloads have run in the neighborhood of 90-100 KBps for a long time. This morning they're consistently near 130.

Yeah, mine were running 130-135 the other night. I just thought it was
the beer...
