Dear All,
NUST School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science is pleased to announce a workshop on:
Embedded Systems are ubiquitously found everywhere from our homes to our cars and from hospitals to aircrafts. Both hardware and software components of an embedded system design have to be individually optimized to meet the present age market challenges. This workshop is focused towards this area as it presents state-of-the-art hardware and software trends and their optimization techniques. The main target areas include,
• Processor technologies like single purpose processors, microprocessors and microcontrollers
• IC technologies like VLSI, ASIC and FPGAs
• C and Assembly Language
• Optimized coding for both RISC and CISC architectures.
• Hands on experience on the state-of-the-art Xilinx Embedded Developer Kit (EDK) containing a Power-PC processor, a Virtex5 FPGA device, the soft-core of Microblaze processor
Workshop Fee:
Professionals: Rs. 8,000/-
Students (Non-NUST): Rs. 3,000/-
