[pakgrid] Seminar on IP Contact Centre (IPCC) Technology | 25th November 2011

Dear All,

NUST, PTCL and Cisco's IP technology Center of Excellence, established at NUST's School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS), is organizing a Free* seminar on IP Contact Centre (IPCC) Technology.

When: Friday 25th November 2011, 1500-1700
Where: Seminar Hall, SEECS, NUST

About the Topic:
A contact center, also known as customer interaction centre is a central point of any organization from which all customer contacts are managed. Through contact centers, valuable information about company is routed to appropriate people, contacts to be tracked and data to be gathered. Contact center solutions are nowadays widely used within enterprises, ranging from the smallest SME up to multinational corporations. The continuous drive for cost efficiencies has led to recent trends such as the introduction of IP-based call centers that can leverage SIP and VoIP technology. These take advantage of the ubiquitous nature of IP networks to create distributed architecture call centers and enable remote or home agents.  Cisco Unified Contact Center solutions deliver intelligent contact routing, call treatment, network-to-desktop computer telephony integration (CTI), and multichannel contact management over an IP infrastructure. It combines multichannel automatic call distributor (ACD) functionality with IP telephony in a unified solution, enabling companies to rapidly deploy a distributed contact center infrastructure. This session will cover an introduction to Cisco IP Based Contact Center Technology and its key components backed by practical demonstrations.
