Here is an announcement for a National Lab Immersion Programme the Physics Laboratory is organizing in June 2012:

This has been designed keeping in mind the highly neglected state of affairs of basic experimental sciences in the country and the to assist science educationists in the launch of four year B.Sc. Honors program in about two dozen colleges.

We hope to particularly emphasize on acquiring physical data, its meaningful representation, processing for uncertainties and design of low-cost apparatus. The program is replete with examples, classroom demos and practical exercises. We will also have guest lectures on revolutionary experiments in sciences. We will invite teachers and post-graduate students from around Pakistan.

You are welcome to encouraging your colleagues and students to register for the Workshop.
