How do I determine what sat I am registered on? I am a Hughesway user with a DW-7000. I have moved and am repositioning my sateliite. I forget which sat to select on the dropdown list for selecting my satellite to do a crosspol test.

How do you know which satellite to aim at?
You shouldn't have to use the drop down list unless you've been off line for
a long time and cannot connect with the default settings in your modem. In
that case, you'd be well advised to download a new config file before
attempting to use the drop-down list.
You can view the default settings in your modem like this:
AFTER powering your modem down and back up, go into the
registration-installer section. When you get to the page with the drop-down
list of transponders, DO NOT USE the drop-down list. Instead, check the box
that says "configure parameters manually" (or something like that) and click
the "Next" button. The screen that it takes you to will have your satellite
and transponder and parameters pre-filled. The parameters shown in that
screen will be the last ones that your modem was connected and working with.
The reason for the power-down and power-up is because if you have used the
drop down list or in some other way changed satellite/transponder
parameters, the changes will be reflected in that screen. The way to set it
back to your default assignment is to power cycle the modem.
