[pakgrid] Re: ICT R&D Fund in trouble again

Dear All,

On Pak Grid normally we feel there are group of people who exploit this website for their own interests. Recently we have seen some emails on R&D and USF. Most of the friends who write are either naïve or do not have the info. I feel R&D Board/HR Committee should resign since if we evaluate the results, productivity of past five six year it is nil/questionable. Did somebody question about the performance of Ex-CEO and his team who were hired by the HR Committee of the Board?? Existing CEO and CFO were hired by the same Board/ HR Committee. Their performance is also questionable.

I also feel it is a matter of integrity, because I find no reason why the CFO is resigning at the same time. I recommend that an independent audit should be conducted.

A transparent mechanism may be adopted to judge the realities behind as putting a finger on a particular position might not be a wise thought.

Regards,
Kashif Hussain

He has suspended Chairman National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC) for not following his political agenda. He has also suspended some senior managers of USF who were against making payment of Rs. 120 million to an advertisement company without following public procurement rules.
