I've got a home mount white fiberglass dish with transmitter etc. It has two
TV LNB's, one of those is the 'lipstick' type.
My question is, Is it worth anything, or am I better off sending it to the
landfill?

There are lots of people who want a spare ... I would be interested, but
you are too far from California.

Shipping that thing could be done, but what a pain, both in the box and the
pocket book.

You may be surprised. If you truely want to part with it, try ebay with a
local pickup. I purchased one off of ebay that was within a 2.5 hour
drive. I actually had to use the feed horn off of it when Hughes sent out
a tech and we found water my original dish.. Of course that didn't fix the
problem, but it was nice having spare parts. Actually I was using the
whole dish on a tripod before I got a MotoSat system. The white
fiberglass dish(s) are hard to come by and they are the ones that work the
best as far as I'm concerned and what I have read.
Personally I would hold on to it as it does have some value. Or, part it
out.
