Hi everyone,
Hope you would be fine. I have a problem about the Ericsson RBS 2116. Just see below. Hope you would help me.
The DRU 18-01 frequentely gets reset. Configuration is 2x2x2. A1-Y-link is connected to all DRUS. When the 2nd Y-link is connected to the 2nd DRU, it gets resest after each 2 seconds and it seems local to the NOC and BSC. when I swap the Y-link cable with other DRU, it becomes operational and other DRU again gets reset. I have taken following steps, If I miss any other step then kindly help me.
1. I have replaced Y-link cable.
2. Replaced DXU and its flash card.
3. Replaced power cable.
4. Hard and soft reset (also TG reset).
5. Replaced DRU with new DRU.
5. Swap feeder cables.
Please tell, what should I do???

You need to reload the DT from BSC end.I think software from BSC end is not properly loaded.Please also sure me that,is it showing red light after reset?.

First of all check the back plane. Create an IDB suitable with RBS type also the configuration,
Moreover, please check the quality of RBLT from BSC side, reset it if there is any high error second and degraded.

HiThere is no back-plane in 2116,,u need to check from BSC,their configuration data is problematic.May be not properly integrated or rest it configuration on BSC end.

Last but certainly not the least is checking grounding. Should be < 1 ohm.
Specifically with old site, lighting prone area and porous soil. Not to
mention if the civil contractor playing hanky panky with the grounding ATP
test.
Good grounding provide jitter free and smooth operation of BTS and not to
mention lighting protection. Again make sure in every grounding point < 1
ohm.

hi fayaz you should check Outc card thats it may not working properly or check the krone wether it may not be proprerly patched out
