Abstract Of Talk:
First part of the seminar will be about innovation and entrepreneurship. Both innovation and entrepreneurship are seen as the key driver of not just economic development but also social advancement. Innovation involves designing new ways of conceptualizing, developing and producing a range of goods and services which society requires. Entrepreneurship adds a further dimension to how new ideas are converted into goods and services. It is very important that we have exposure to entrepreneurship learning. This education in general and the infrastructure to support them in particular plays an important role in entrepreneurship development worldwide. The aim of this talk is to encourage audiences to learn about entrepreneurship and learn how entrepreneurship can be used for bringing innovation to the market.
The second part of the seminar will be on Layer 2 MPLS VPNs. It is a mechanism that Internet Service Providers use to segregate their network for their customers and allow them to transmit data over IP Networks. Customers who prefer to maintain control over most of the administration of their own networks may use Layer 2 VPN connections with their service provider instead of a Layer 3 VPN. L2 VPN enables service providers to protect their investments by continuing to provide existing data and voice services while introducing new services and architectures. Service providers also benefit from cost savings in converging services and new service revenues from new, innovative IP services over the newly converged IP/MPLS network.
About the Speaker:
Mr. Kashif Ul Haq is a veteran in the ICT industry of Pakistan. He has over 14 years of experience as a technologist and an entrepreneur and has deep insight into technology and business impact of technology. Currently he is working as Founding CEO of Corvit Networks. Corvit is a leading network integrator of the region specializing in providing solutions, services and training to its customers all across Pakistan and the Middle East.
