If it did not work, my guess would be that you were trying it in the "IE cookie" mode - that mode has the same problems that DSLocator has and won't work with later versions of IE cookies.

If you have the program installed, and you run it, look at the two fields "Map ID" and "Password" - if those are blank you never set them up. As I noted, you must first use, one time, the map form and fill in values for those two items so the server knows what you want to use. They can be the same as your forum login, or different, I don't care which. Once set there, you set them in DSMapSubmit and make sure "Alternate ID/Password" is selected for the "Submit updates using" item.
