Dear Members,
I need yours valuable and expert help on the following networking issue:
Server Side
1. I installed Win 2008 r2 Enterprise Edition on VMware and configured
DNS and DHCP.
2. Scope for DHCP server is (192.168.1.101 to 192.168.1.105)
3. DNS server is 192.168.1.99
4. DHCP Server: 192.168.1.99
5. Domain name: home.com
Client Side
1. I installed Win Xp in VmWare.
2. Joined the domain (home.com)
3. IP is assigned through DHCP server.
4. Following is the command output using ipconfig/all:
IP: 192.168.1.101 (from address pool of DHCP server)
Default Gateway: NIL
DHCP server : 192.168.1.99
DNS Server: 192.168.1.99
BUT Internet is NOT connected on client side. And CONNECTED on Server Side
Please help me out..
