The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars is looking for qualified applicants for the Pakistan Scholar Program.  The successful applicant will spend 9 months in residence at the Woodrow Wilson Center, in the heart of Washington, D.C., where they will carry out advanced, policy-oriented research and writing.  The Woodrow Wilson Center is Washington's only independent, wide-ranging, non-partisan institute for advanced research.  This competition is open to Pakistani men and women working in academia, business, journalism, government, law, and related professions.  Candidates must be currently pursuing research on key public policy issues facing Pakistan, research designed to bridge the gap between the academic and the policymaking worlds.

For more information on this program and for application materials, please see their website: http://www.wilsoncenter.org/opportunity/pakistan-scholar-program-2013-2014-information-and-application.  The U.S. Embassy does not administer or fund this program, so please contact the Woodrow Wilson Center directly with any questions.
