Description
The purpose of this document is to describe the functional role of Front Office Manager within the Managed Service delivery services.
 
Responsibilities
The Front Office Manager is the focal point of all network assurance and service assurance activities. The Front Office Manager also focuses on the key performance of the front office. It's the Front Office Managers duty to:
 
* Be responsible for the surveillance, organization and motivation of all operation personnel.
* Conduct or participate in recruitment interviews for selection of personnel.
* Be able to recognize the training requirements for people and give coaching where applicable.
* Be responsible for the well being of all staff in terms of their working environment and conditions of employment.
* Allocate work to the personnel with training and skills capable of doing the task.
* Ensure the Front Office is adequately staffed at all times.
* Provide the Operation Manager with reports of Front Office performance on a scheduled basis.
* Attend in managements meetings responsible for Front Office activities.
 
Main activities
The main activities are the following:
 
* Define and set up of service management Front Office routines based on main goals and priorities defined by operations management. This includes definition of routines activities within the Front Office e.g. periodic system check, scheduled backup performance.
* Co-ordinate works with other operation work areas management e.g. Back Office Manager, Field Maintenance Manager, Service Delivery Manager, and etc.
* Responsible for the planning of human resources within the Front Office functionality e.g. scheduling of staff on Front Office rotation.
* Responsible to define the reporting in accordance with the contractual obligation, and to schedule for regular collection of statistics.
* Responsible for the Front Office operational performance.
* Responsible for customer care relation management i.e. ensuring that problems reported from customer care is handled accordingly. This implies the need to have regular operational and performance meeting with the customer care department.
 
Reports to
NOC Manager.
 
General Competence
 
* Fluent in written and spoken English
* Be able to work independently.
* Flexible and responsive to changing work patterns and demands.
* Open approach to solving problems and dealing with new proposals.
* A thorough and methodical approach to work.
* Must be able to work to tight time scales.
* Strong management skill and people relation skill.
 
Technical Competence
 
* Excellent knowledge of Control Network, i.e. system, HW / SW, functionality, DT.
* Excellent knowledge of the network topology, its traffic handling capabilities and traffic characteristics.
* Good knowledge of all network elements and their main characteristics.
* Good / excellent knowledge of the Core Network management system functionality and application use, (surveillance, performance, configuration).
* Good knowledge of network signaling / synchronization.
* Good knowledge of network implementation / integration processes.
* Network service / performance focused.
* Good knowledge about network operation processes and interfaces.
 
Required education and experience
 
* The Front Office Manager should have a degree in Electrical Engineering/ Telecommunication Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
* Have a minimum 7 years of experience in Services Management and Operation of Telecom networks.
* Have a good management background in the telecommunication industry preferably in the Operation or Support capacity.

HMMM, friend if u have 2 days then i will suggest that just see the samples, of english and analytical from gat book and practie questions for quantitative, all things come that are available in the book of GAT, practice maths and regarding time management there are 2 best choices ( ENGLISH, MATH , ANALYTICS) FOR ANALYTIC u atleast should ideally 1 hour but minimally 40-50 min
