Urgent: Help//Regarding Study options for Telecom engineer in New ze

Dear friends,
 
Hope all are doing well. I am planning to puruse my Higher studies in New zeeland in Telecommunication related courses under M.E/PG dIPLOMA SCIENCE/M.Sc/M.S.
 
I am a Telecommunications engineer having an experience of 4 years in telecommunications industry on various technologies such as GSM, GPRS, UMTS/WCDMA, LTE etc. in BSS, RF departments.
 
I have some questions in mind for which i hope to get some valuable feedbcaks from you all.
 
1. How are the opportunities for telecom engineers in NZ after completing M.E/MS/PG diploma in telecom engineering?
 
2. Is it worth to go for NZ for higher studies and sepdning around 10-12 lacs/year for study?
 
3. How are job placement for M.E. in telecom engineering in Auckland university?
 
4. Can i get a telecom job after completing M.E. in Auckland university if i am not recruited in campus interview itself?
 
5. Can i get PR easiliy after completing study?
 
6. How much i can earn from doing part time jobs in Auckland/Other parts of NZ?
 
7. Do you know any other countries offering a good chence for telecom engineer to get PR and settle down with family after completing study?

Hi Shakti,

You better choose Australia for study and PR. Much better than NZ because
NZ is very small country and less opportunities in Telecom and IT sector.

The best country to go as a student is Canada (as PR is easiest and direct route).Canadian citizenship / passport require 3 years where as everywhere else its 5 years. NZ is not a top notch technological country. Australia is better than NZ.

Yes Waqas Alam is right All companies need good reference to get you in. In Pakistan telecom sector is full of reference some people just call for interview or test and will never let you know either you selected or rejected. Actually what they do is they will do internal hiring of some referenced person and just taking fake tests and interviews for being so honest infront of people that their company is clean of corruption.

Or I may call Pakistan Name should be changed to " REFERISTAN " this name really suits and reserve by Pakistan. Most will agree with me and those who not already happy because they have job's and when one has job he don't care about other. This is fact.

And one thing more, they wrote in mail that they'll give me an assessment on amplitude test on Verbal, Numerical and logical reasons. So what question does I expect from them.

You all guys are 1000% right.. I have completed my Telecom Engineering in December 2011 with 3.7CGPA but I am still unemployed due to the main reason that I dont have reference and also dont have experience. Very much frustrated now... Thinking that it was better to do BSC and then MSC so that at least I can teach somewhere.
