The details of the session are as follows:
Semantics is the study of meaning and a branch of Artificial Intelligence. Semantic based development is becoming in main stream computing, and a number of notable applications are in use by various organizations globally, such as BBC and Oracle. HTML-5 is the upcoming technology which is also using semantics, which enhances accessibility, search ability, internationalization and interoperability.

This awareness session focuses on discussing the Emerging Trends in Semantic Web and Business Application Developments.
In Pakistan, there are very few organizations which are working on semantics based products by now. So there is a huge potential market and we can generate business opportunities here.

Audience:
IT and Business Professionals, Teachers and Students from the industry will be participating in it. This session will help them to under how efficiently apply semantics can be used in their business.
