[pakgrid] PhD/Job positions at Computer Vision Group (Madrid)

 

Two Job positions (or alternatively PhD scholarships) are available at the Computer Vision Group at Universidad Politecnica Madrid http://www.vision4uav.com/

They are inscribed in two different R&D projects, one is related to "See&Avoid" and the other one is related to "Power Line Visual Inspection"

We offer:

* integration in an international R&D group

* integration in an official R&D project in Computer Vision and UAV

* viability for PhD studies in Robotics 

* salary to be discussed according to experience and time commitment, based on the official amount of 1200 €/month

* one year contract, which is easily renewed and enlarged

* international participation (congresses, courses, R&D stays and competitions)

We require:

* motivation and enthusiasm

* self initiative and facility for team working

* experience in programming (C++ and Matlab)

* experience in Computer Vision (Control and Machine Learning are also well considered)

* experience in sensors (cameras, lasers, lidar and UAV instrumentation) is a plus

* good academic CV
