*Position: *Network Support Engineer (Male)

*Qualification: *BE or above in
(electrical/electronics/telecom/computer/systems) from reputable and HEC
recognized university with minimum 60% marks in matric, FSc and good GPA/%
in bachelors/masters. Fresh graduates should apply in full confidence if
they meet this criteria.

*Skills Required: *Very good verbal and written communication
skills, and ability to work in teams under pressure.

*Job Description: *Hired engineer will undergo an extensive,
all-round training for initial 2-3 weeks after which he will be placed in
Technical Assistance Center (TAC) initially where he will be required to
handle technical queries of customers. Moreover all hiring needs of
departments like Core/IP, NGN, Systems, Access, Transmission, Video are also
catered by transferring engineers from TAC.

*Growth Opportunities:* Extensive, round-the-year trainings are
offered in all areas of our operations namely fiber transmission, DSL
technology, NGN, access network, Core/IP, MPLS, BGP, video head-end, systems
etc. Moreover engineers are offered annual promotion opportunities in
general. There is opportunity for those who work hard and beyond the call of
duty to get promoted on fast track basis, which is the hall mark of NTL/MBL
HR culture. In addition to this, engineers can get an opportunity to become
part of interviewing panels, give internal trainings etc all of which help

An engineer can also be hired one step higher than Network Support Engineer

and zero percent connection problems, losses etc..

Also Please suggest me meduim for WAN

fiber optics?
microwave?

*NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER (NOC) MANAGER*

Summary

Supervises the Network Operations Center (NOC). Responsible for the
day-to-day assignments of staff, and the follow-up of their work
performance. Manages the daily activities to resolve problems and change
management issues. Responsible for SLA creation, management, reporting and
other metrics to evaluate systems performance, and works with IT groups and
users to ensure that service objectives are met. Also responsible for the
creation and management of communications plans for all levels of customers.

Required Experience:

Typically has 5 to 7 years of Network Operations Management experience with
exposure to multi-platform environments. Requires experience in leading
teams and projects. Prior experience building a NOC from scratch is a must.
Must have maintained a NOC 24/7.

Breadth:

First level management in data center operations. Works under general
direction of middle level management. Manages multiple processes within the
operations area. Manages and mentors technical staff. Understands the alert
process.

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree or technical institute degree/certificate
in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or
equivalent work experience.
