Operation of the proposed technical front office will be established based
on 24X7 availability covered by adequate number of shifts and manpower.
Following is the description of the functions that needs to be covered by
front office around the clock:
1.1 *Technical Buildings*
- Front office will be responsible to monitor all main technical
buildings utilizing available monitoring tools and escalating alarms to
Nawras team
- Front office will be responsible for the implementation of Nawras
access policy including planned work activities control for all technical
buildings and will be responsible to escalate any violation to Nawras team
1.2 *Alarms Handling*
Front office team will be responsible to monitor all network elements
covered under managed operations contract using different venodrs' element
managers for the different products. Monitoring will include alarm
acknowledgement, problem diagnosis, 1st level support and escalation to
back office/ field maintenance once needed according to reporting/
escalation service level. As part of this role front office will be the
focal point for information distribution and they will be the owner of the
trouble tickets up to their closure. Alarms related to power, rectifiers,
A/C, temperature and other external alarms are also under managed
operations front office responsibility. Front office will be responsible to
follow up with back office and field maintenance on the trouble tickets
assigned to them.
1.3*Technical interface*
- Front office will be the main interface with customer care for all
technical trouble tickets.
- Front office will be the focal point for receiving/ issuing trouble
tickets related to technical area, utilizing trouble ticketing system.
- Front office will be responsible to interface with other operators,
3rd party contractors and other service providers to ensure proper
coordination and follow up on issues related to maintenance and operational
activities like and not limited to; leased lines availability, follow up
with power companies ... etc
1.4*Performance Management*
While front office will not be requested to do detailed performance
analysis, front office is expected to be responsible to do proactive
monitoringfor network high level performance utilizing available
performance tools. This includes monitoring main elements utilization,
network traffic, congestion, low success rate on a large scale and any
other measures needed to ensure healthy network performance and agreed with
Nawras team. In case of performance degradation front office is responsible
to implement basic diagnosis and escalate to next levels once needed based
on established and agreed process.
1.5*Configuration Management*
Front office will be responsible to implement basic configuration tasks/
requests related to daily operational activities.
Back office will be the responsible for overall configuration management
responsibility including advanced configuration tasks which need certain
set of skills where global effect or high impact is expected. These tasks
will be implemented by back office team following an agreed planned work
process.
1.6*Sites Access Control*
Front office will be responsible to follow on all sites' access including
main technical buildings. As part of this role front office will ensure
that only authorized personal will access the sites based on agreed site
access process.
Front office will maintain the detailed log for sites' access as part of
their responsibility.
1.7*Reporting*
- Front office will be responsible to issue detailed daily reports
related to network outages, faulty parts/ systems and planned activities
status.
- Front office will be responsible to issue weekly report for critical
and major incidents and major planned activities.
- Front office will be responsible to issue monthly/ Quarterly reports
for critical and major incidents along with the percentage of resolution
that was within agreed service level and percentage of deviation if any.
- Front office leader/ manager will be responsible to send detailed
incident report after any major/ critical incident within 24 hours from
incident resolution.
- Front office will ensure that all updates related to outages or
services' degradation is communicated to related teams/ management
according to agreed escalation process with Nawras team utilizing available
tools like and not limited to e-mail, SMS and phone calls.

· To perform security checking for all operation as well audit for all

· To maintain the scheduled task in the IN.
· To provide assistance on problem or incident handling.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
· Extensive experienced as Ericsson IN back office engineer..
· Extensive experience with core software application including all IN
components.
· Must have hands on experience on Ericsson IN operations & maintenances.
· Experiences on Ericsson IN elements like SDP, AIR, VS, CRS, ECE, CCN,
IVR(VXML), Minsat and etc.
· Good knowledge in operating systems.
· Good knowledge in database.
· Good knowledge of shell scripting.
· Good knowledge in Network, Switch, Router, Firewall, TCP/IP protocol and
etc.
· Good Troubleshooting skills.
