Vice Chancellors or their representatives of the corresponding universities / institutions participated in the ceremony. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by the Ambassador, Chairperson and the vice chancellors.

Vice-Chancellor's International High Achievers Scholarships 2013, Charles Darwin University

F.A Kernot Bequest Scholarship 2012, The University of Melbourne, Australia
The FA Kernot Bequest Scholarship was established by Frederic Archer Kernot.  Frederic Archer Kernot was a dentist and played a key role in the transition of dentistry from a trade to a profession.  He was involved in the establishment of the original Dental Hospital in Melbourne and served on the Dental Board of Victoria and on the Council of the Australian College of Dentistry. He had a keen interest in mechanical workshop work throughout his life.  Frederic Archer Kernot died in 1920.

The theme of social inclusion is especially on the agenda when it comes to the issue of unemployment . Unemployment, with a current rate (15.4%), affects thousands of Portuguese and is regarded as one of the major factors of social exclusion. The economic crisis that currently crosses eventually be reflected in the decrease of jobs.

International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS), Australian Catholic University, Australia
The International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS) is the main scholarship funded by the Commonwealth Government for international students and administered by ACU. These scholarships are open to international students and cover a student's tuition fee and overseas health insurance costs for the scholarship holder and their dependants. The tenure of the scholarship is two years for a Masters and three years for a Doctoral candidature and also includes the payment of tuition fees.
