International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS)

International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) are a tuition fee scholarship for full-time study towards a higher degree by research.  These prestigious scholarships are funded by the Australian Government. UWS supports IPRS awardees with a living allowance and overseas student health cover.

Bestway Scholarships for students from Pakistan

The University of Bradford is pleased to announce that the Bestway Foundation is supporting five scholarships as part of the Counties in Crisis Scheme. These scholarships will be for students domiciled in Pakistan who are starting a full time Master's course at the University of Bradford in September 2013.

2013-14 Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme Scholarship

The MTCP scholarship for Postgraduate studies provides opportunities for students to pursue advanced academic study in Malaysia. This scholarship is a Government-to-Government basis, without any bond imposed by Malaysia. Scholarships are intended for promising candidates who may be expected to make a significant contribution to their own countries on their return from Malaysia. The duration of the award is 36 months for PhD and between 12 to 24 months for Masters Programme.

2013 British Federation of Women Graduates (BFWG) Scholarships

The British Federation of Women Graduates scholarships are for women who will be in their third year of doctoral studies or part time equivalent at the time when the awards are given out (the autumn of each year). The awards are given on the basis of evidence of academic excellence as shown on the application form, referee reports and, for those shortlisted, presentation of research to a panel of academics. The amounts offered range upwards from £1000 with the average award being around £3000.

2013 Laurette Kirstein Scholarships, USA

University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), Office of International Services funded Laurette Kirstein scholarships for international students in USA. This scholarship is available for pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree level.

2013 Netherlands Fellowship Programmes

The Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP) promote capacity building within organisations in 62 countries by providing training and education through fellowships for professionals. The NFP is initiated and fully funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the budget for development cooperation.

Aida Sulayman Arif Bursary in Art and Archaeology, School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, UK

The Department of Art and Archaeology is pleased to invite applications to this bursary, created in recognition of the work of Dr Aida Sulayman Arif, an eminent archaeologist who completed her PhD at SOAS in 1960.

The Faculty of Engineering is offering scholarships to all new international rated fee-paying applicants who start an engineering or computing undergraduate degree course at the University of Leeds

Countries in Crisis Scholarships 2013/14 University of Bradford

University of Bradford is offering scholarships for students of developing countries to study full time master program except MBA. Minimum three scholarships are available covering full tuition fees and accommodation and also provide living cost up to £3,500 per annum. These scholarships are to aid students in financial hardship due to the fact that they are domiciled in a country that is in crisis as a result of the political situation, war, natural disaster etc.

2013 BIGSSS PhD Fellowships In Germany

Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS) offers PhD fellowships program. 15 stipends are offered to pursue PhD programme in one of BIGSSS' three thematic fields: global governance and regional integration, welfare state, inequality and Quality of Life and in the field Changing Lives in Changing Socio-Cultural Contexts.

2013 Economic And Social Development Scholarships, UK

University of Sussex offers scholarships for on one-year master's degree students. Applicants must be enrolled in anthropology, development studies/international development (including the institute of development studies), economics, education (including MA in childhood and youth studies), gender studies, international relations, human rights, migration studies.
