Dear Colleagues,
It is our pleasure to invite you to an upcoming event on water
resource management that we are organizing at LUMS.
The theme of the event is to discuss the grand challenges related to
management of Pakistan's water resources and propose ICT inspired
solutions. This event is unique is that it brings together researchers
in electrical engineering, civil & environmental engineering, computer science,
systems analysis and public policy under one roof to
discuss Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) for water
resource managers.
The event, spanning over four days from March 16 to 19, consists of the following workshops:
Day 1 - Symposium on Pakistan's Water Futures
Day 2 - DAAD Workshop on Sensing and Control for Water Networks
Day 3 - IWMI Workshop on Hydro-informatics
Day 4 - IEEE-CSS Mini-course on System Identification of Irrigation Channels
