Have you tried a MiFi or other similar cell phone based internet? I've got a USB 4G stick with an AT&T SIM card in it, which I can use directly in the laptop, or in a WIFI router (there are some special ones that do this). This solution works anywhere there is cell phone service and works going down the road, so my wife and family can be connected while we are driving. It's also often faster than the satellite connection.
We also have a Motosat Datastorm F1 dish, with Hughesnet service. This gives us internet access when we're really off the grid, which we like to do.
If I had to give up one of them, perhaps for economic reasons, I'd give up the satellite service. The cell phone based internet, 4G, is simply faster and generally more useful.
I like having the satellite internet and I'm not knocking it in any way, just pointing out that these days there is another alternative that in many ways is better.
Your choice will of course be based on your own travel patterns and preferences.

Subject: [RVInternetBySatellite] Looking for good satellite internet
I am looking for a good reliable satellite internet service. Are you satisfied with the service you have. Please let me know. I travel only on the west coast and into Arizona for the winter. Looking to hear from you.
