The full time position will be appointed for three years starting on January 1, 2013. The salary is fixed by the German pay grade system for public services (pay grade E 13 TV-L).
The PhD position is offered in the one of the following research areas:
- Methods and algorithms for sensor fusion in complex systems, in particular involving complex sensors such as cameras or depth sensors
- Generic (mathematical) frameworks for designing sensor fusion in a given system
- Sensor fusion, in particular for cameras, beyond Gaussian noise
