Data Engineering Lab (SEECS, NUST) has two immediate openings of software engineers for an ongoing research project. A minimum of 1‐year hands‐on coding experience in the software industry is required. More recent graduates with exceptional coding skills are also encouraged to apply for these positions. This is an ideal opportunity for you if you love to learn latest web technologies.You must have a deep sense of aesthetics, an inventive spirit, and a strong bias towards object oriented approach and design patterns.
Software Engineer (PHP)
* Core PHP/MySQL development, experience of using any MVC framework is preferred
Software Engineer (Java)
* Core Java and J2EE development, experience of BIRT/Jasper framework is preferred
* Should have strong understanding and implementation experience of REST style services
* Understanding of Semantic Web and Linked Data will be preferred
