I looked at the web page after reading your email, and the first thing
that I noticed was: too much text. Most of it gets in the way of
actually using the site. You can replace almost everything on the
front page with the above two paragraphs, and it'll immediately be
obvious what your website does. Right now, it's hard to figure that

I'm not looking for an "opportunity;" you need to sell your service.
I'm not a web designer, but I came up with this simpler look:

It doesn't convey all the information your current front page does,
but it does highlight the main use case. (It probably doesn't look
good in anything but Chrome.)
As an aside, from past experience working with URL shorteners, I
should point out that your "recent searches" table will soon fill up
with spam and/or porn links. You might want to moderate the URLs and
searches that appear there.
