Vacation Mode & e-mail?

Hello all

We've been thinking about putting our Hughes account on vacation mode perhaps next year. What happens to my e-mail accounts during that time ... can I still access them via webmail? Or is that service shut off? Can I send e-mail from those addresses on web mail?

Thanks,
Sally

For reasons I don't yet understand, the pointing mode stopped working on my Hughes system. Both the software and the opi read 30 even when the point is dead on. However, PC-Opi still works without problems. The problem became getting the PC-opi information from computer in the RV to the roof where the dish is located.
After trying a variety of solutions involving blue-toothing to an amplifier, FM transmissions, and lugging the computer to the roof, I settled on a remote controller running on an Android smart phone. It works so much better than the hardware opi, I can't believe I will ever use the latter again. The screen is bigger and can be positioned, or you can keep it in your pocket and just listen, and you needn't change the connectors.
The remote controller I settled on is named Splashtop which connects via the local router. Teamview works well too but it connects through evdo which might not be available.
