Assalamoalekum All,

Reference: Cause Values for Call Control:: TS 24.008 [2]

Below are two out of many causes when call is finished due to any reason from MTC end.

"Cause 18 no user responding: This cause is used when a user does not respond to a
call establishment message with either an alerting or connect indication within the
prescribed period of time allocated (defined by the expiry of either timer T303 or T310).

Cause 19 user alerting, no answer: This cause is used when a user has provided an
alerting indication but has not provided a connect indication within a prescribed period
of time."
----------------------------------------------------------

Which of these cause refers to Missed Call? That is to say, the scenario when MTC didnt pick up the call upon his will.
In other words, if voicemail had been activated, which of the above two scenarios will end up in voicemail?

Will both of the two causes end up in voice mail?

Ericsson SDP Engineer

- University level in a technical discipline (e.g. Engineering etc) with
a minimum of two years technical experience within a Telecommunications
environment, preferably in the Charging and Billing domain area - operator
experience is highly valued.
- knowledge of the following areas is required:
- Good Knowledge of the following protocols; CS1+, CAI, DIAMETER, RPC,
PAMI, POSI, VSIP, UCIP
- Expertise in Charging System 3.0/4.0/5.0 and its components; SDP,
MINSAT, IN-IVR, AIR, VS, Dynamic Tarrifing.
- Should have experience of SDP integration with Ericsson Charging
system and core nodes.
- Should have good knowledge and experience of SDP integration with GPRS
using (CIP/IP,GY, Gy+ interface)
- Good knowledge of post-paid and pre-paid rating
- Business and Tariff Configuration experience
- UNIX Solaris, SUN Clustering, VERITAS Cluster and IP/datacom
networking skills.
- Database Skills (Oracle, PL/SQL)

Duration : 1 year

Skill Level: Experienced / Senior

Location : Riyadh Saudi Arabia
