The scientific disciplines of imaging and vision are in constant evolution, incorporating new technologies and engaging in new fields of application. Driven by these challenges, the laboratory of Imaging and Vision was created at the beginning of 2003 within the Department of Information Science, Systems Theory, and Communication (DISCo) of the University of Milan at Bicocca. The Laboratory research activities are supported by several industrial and public organizations.
We are now looking for a postdoctoral candidate with experience in areas related to image and video processing, machine learning, and computer vision. The position is offered for one-year with a possible extension for another year.
Required skills:
PhD or at least three years experience related to image/video processing and/or computer vision
C/C++, MATLAB programming skills;
Mathematical background
Image/video processing background;
Computer vision / Machine learning knowledge.
