The College of Computing and Information Systems (CCIS) at Umm Al-Qura University in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, is seeking candidates for faculty positions in computing, starting immediately.
CCIS has been successful in attracting high calibre researchers, who enjoy strong administrative and financial support from the college's administration. In September 2012, CCIS is due to relocate to a new purpose-built building, comprising state-of-the-art laboratories and lecturing facilities, as part of its ambitious plans to build a strong teaching and research profile. CCIS welcomes exceptional faculty from around the world.
Applicants should have Ph.D.s or Master's degrees in computer science, computer engineering or Information Systems.
Contracts will be for lecturer, assistant professor, associate professor and full professor positions.
Evidence of the ability to pursue a research program and a strong commitment to teaching are required for each position. Successful candidates will be expected to teach courses at undergraduate and graduate levels.
