CALL FOR WORKSHOPS
IEEE INMIC 2102, Islamabad, Pakistan (13-15 December, 2012)

IEEE International Multi-topic Conference (INMIC), the premier computing and
engineering conference, has established itself as a prestigious forum for the
exchange of innovative and significant research results. The conference provides
opportunities for researchers and practitioners to explore new ideas,
techniques, and tools, and to exchange experiences. This year the conference
(INMIC2012) is being held at Islamabad, Pakistan from 13-15 December, 2012. The
conference is organized by Riphah International University
[http://www.inmic2012.org] with technical co-sponsorship of IEEE Islamabad
Section.

On the 3rd day of conference there will be a full-day program of workshops with
two parallel tracks:

(1) Scientific Workshops: The objective of the scientific workshops is to
provide the opportunity for an intensive discussion on ongoing work and new
ideas among researchers.

(2) Industrial Workshops: The objective of industrial workshops is to give
industrial pioneers in the emerging computing and engineering applications the
opportunity to share hands-on experiences, industrial trends, and innovative and
bleeding edge technology, etc.

For both the tracks, the workshops shall have topics that are more specific than
the main INMIC conference. You are cordially invited to submit workshop
proposals. Your proposal should provide the following information:

• Workshop Title
• Workshop Resource Person(s) Name
• Statement of Goals and Objectives
• Intended Audience
• Duration of the Workshop
• Brief Description and Benefits of the Workshop
• Name, Affiliations, Contact Information
• Detailed CV of the Resource Person(s)
• Special Requirements

The proposal for workshops should be submitted to the Chair Technical Program
Committee email (naveed.ikram@riu.edu.pk), no later than July 01, 2012 (PDF
format is preferred). The subject of the email should be "Proposal for INMIC
2012 Workshop". Each proposal will be evaluated based on the topics and
organization plan of the workshop. A limited number of workshop proposals will
be accepted.
