telecom is over saturated field now... i will also recommend you to go for computer networks,or network security or information security.Being a MS student in nust i also know that nust's MS telecom  is not quite upto mark

I would suggest you o do MS in Computer Networks, because Computer Networks has a big market compared to telecom. You may get Job in Finance sector, Hospital, Education, in ISP IT/Network Department.  Regards,Farhan Ahmed Khan

Bro if you have map info you can easily find Azimuth between two points but you need Maps of the region you are working on, i have central one sites map , and i can easily find azimuth between two sites by using the bearing tool, just draw a line from one site say A to site B and you get the details of coordinates with Azimuth (true north) and also the path length,  Google earth is also good but i use google when planning a repeater or if LOS is not quite clear due to vagitation or hills . Path Loss and Map info are good tools for LOS and repeater or BCD planning.
stay blessed.

Hello Guys,

I have done 6 weeks internship in PTCL. I met an Engineer who secured job through Management Trainee Program of PTCL organized by NTS last year. He told me that in MTO test the Focus was on the Switching & Transmission, Optical Fiber Networks, Broadband Communication and Electronics. Now I want to ask from people (PTCL MTOs) that is there any thing else to be covered for this test? What is the expected stipend for that? I am asking stipend because I am from a small city and there is no telecom industry here so I will (if succeeded in test & interview) ask PTCL people to place me in Lahore or Pindi so that I should do some useful certifications as well. Please give use full suggestions for all of my questions & Opinions.
