[pakgrid] Re: Research grant awarded by Microsoft Research - SoftUPS

Dear Wahaj Sb,
Thank you for this introduction, and truly I agree with your assessment that the platform provided by ICTRDF played a significant role in allowing me to establish international credentials. I would also be remiss to point out the help and support from the Rector of FAST-NU in regards to research activity.

As an aside I would like to request that the audience on pakgrid does not spread this on social and other media, or does so with minimum hyperbole. I humbly ask as while this grant is giant step for me, in a larger scheme of things it is just-another-grant. Furthermore my contact in MSR specifically asked that it not be spread beyond reasonable publicity i.e. posting on my website etc, partly due to a previous social media slip.

I will also take this opportunity for people interested in this idea/proposal to keep looking at http://sysnet.org.pk/w/Jobs_and_Internships for positions for this project that will be put up quite soon.

Regards,

Affan
