I agree with earlier posts. I would go one step further and say that most of these books are copy paste jobs.

I am in total agreement and have had similar observations in the areas of Microwave Engineering, Electronics, and some other areas. Quite often 'Simple' does not imply 'accurate'. Nice point raised by Dr. Nasrullah. This does not mean a total rejection of Indian texts but to watch out for texts doing the job of ruining the correct concepts in a search for simplicity.
