*Position Purpose: *We are seeking an experienced individual who can help
drive Group synergies and standardization across Telenor's Business Units in
the area of IT Application Architecture, with specialty in Business Support
Systems or Operation Support Systems.

*Degree(s)/Major(s):* Master's degree in Information Technology and/or
Telecommunications.

*Experience Required:* 8 - 10 years.

*Key Responsibilities:*

- Participate and set directions in IT application transformation
projects in Telenor Group on solutions and direction, in particular in the
BSS and OSS domains.
- Identify possibilities for Group synergies and standardizations in the
IT application area
- Cooperate closely with Group IT Sourcing and Telenor's mobile
operations to establish Group Agreements, preferred vendors and
recommendations in prioritized areas.
- Your Merits:
- You have at least a master's degree, preferably in Information
Technology and/or Telecommunications.
- Experience from a senior IT technology position, preferably within
systems, architecture and contracts
- Preferably 10+ years of experience from relevant areas, including
extensive hands-on implementation experience.
- You have a record that demonstrates a passion for business,
exploitation of existing and new technologies as well as excellent execution
and delivery abilities
- Preferably experience both from supplier and telecom operator
organizations as well as mature and emerging markets
- You can provide strong references at CTO/CIO/SVP level.

*Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:* Familiar with shaping and taking a
leading role in complex IT transformation projects/programs.

- A forward leaning and experienced senior technology person that will be
seen as one of the leading persons in the IT Application area in Telenor
Group
- Excellent in oral and written communication / presentation in English
and comfortable in communicating at CxO as well as expert level.
- Prepared to work under pressure and travel on short notice between
Telenor's Business Units when circumstances require it.
- Strong in interpersonal and consensus building skills through
combination of own knowledge and insights as well as trustworthy
objectiveness and respect for alternative views and opinions of key
stakeholders.
- Experienced and skilled in working and cooperating within an
international and multicultural environment.
- Structured and able to plan, prioritize and deliver!
