Relevant Experience
· Ideal candidate should have 16 years of education in Computer Science or related fields and should have at least 5 years of industry experience ( preferably two years at the same post)
· The candidate should have in depth knowledge of computer networks and operating systems and should be able to easily take on new challenges as well.

Job Description
• Currently, the university IT department can be divided into two different groups namely:
a. Network Operations and Maintenance,
b. (Web + Database) Servers related Application Development / Maintenance.
The person assuming the post of Manager Networks and IT will not only coordinate and oversee the activities of these subgroups but he will also be required to solve the problems, design and implement the solutions.
• The candidate should have demonstrable experience in network design, planning, troubleshooting and management. The candidate should also have hand on experience of Routing and Switching technologies.
• The candidate should also have demonstrable experience in centralized software deployment, virtualization.
• The candidate will be required to recommend objective and comprehensive technical options for network, system, database and website related problems and he should also be able to guide other team members.
• The candidate will also be required o develop, administer, and manage security of information systems and technology necessary for efficient operation of the university's current operations and to achieve long-term university's goals.
• The candidate will be required to oversee the web based application servers of IQRA University, hence solid expertise in web development and deployment is preferred.
• The candidate should have solid knowledge of network security and he should be able to deploy and configure network security related tools like Firewalls, IPS etc
Package
Selected candidate will have a very attractive salary package in the range of 70,000-75,000 Rs depending on the experience and qualification. Fringe benefits include provident fund, earned leaves, medical facilities etc.
