1-Day Workshop on Microcontrollers for Dummies
3rd January, 2012 NUST SEECS
NUST SEECS is organizing a Workshop "Microcontrollers for Dummies" with hands on experience for the students. It's a great opportunity for all the students who are new to microcontrollers and PCB designing techniques.
Venue:
From 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm SEECS Seminar Hall
From 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm General Purpose Lab (UG-East Wing)
Instructor: Dr. Tauseef Tauqeer
Topics to be Covered:
- Basics of Micro controllers.
- Features of 8051
- Introduction to different IC's interfacing
- Flashing the Hex code in Micro controller.
- Interfacing LCD with Micro controller.
- Interfacing serial port.
- PCB Etching techniques
- Designing technique of PCB Generic Boards for PIC, 8051 and ATMEGA Micro controllers
- Introduction to the common IC used such as MAX232, LM7805 etc. will be covered
Workshop Fee:
Students Rs.800/-
The registration fee can be deposited at the information desk (SEECS) after which an acknowledgment slip will be issued.
Last Date of registration is 12:00 pm on 3rd of January 2012 (Limited Seats Available)
