Job Description:

The Account Technology Strategist (ATS) adds value to Microsoft by providing technical guidance to customers, resulting in expanded deployments of Microsoft technology, including Windows 7 & Office 2010 adoptions, in targeted accounts.

As the Account Technology Strategist, you will be working with Communication & Public Sector account team to drive solutions and deployment wins. You will collaborate closely with an Account Manager to develop and execute a long-term strategy for the account and evangelize Microsoft products, technologies, and solutions to meet revenue goals and strategic initiatives for the account assigned.

The ATS has the unique responsibility of earning the status as trusted advisor with key technical decision-makers and business leaders, including CIOs, COOs, IT department managers, and architects. You will thoroughly understand the business priorities of your customers, match those priorities to our technical capabilities, and influence the use of Microsoft solutions to support their businesses.
