Hello

I think I am having a transmitter failing. It takes my system anywhere from 15min to 1 hour to lock on. I leave the sat aim and pointed and just cycle the power on and off. When I need it I just turn on the power and it usually locks up on the bird in a few seconds. Does anyone know if there is a person or place who can help me who is located in eastern texas? So far I can get on, I just have to be patient. I was also thinking if it is the transmitter, I would like to upgrade to the 2 watt version.

Thanks Barb and Dale for the tips on getting our hughes net back on. I had to cross-pol on a different satellite and go thru re-registration. It still didn't get a system light until I did

There are a ton of different diagnostics that could be helpful. Probably the first things to ask:

What are the steps you use when pointing?

If you look in System info at your transponder (frequency) is it what you expect to see?
