I have applied to many subcontractors and operators but all in vain , either they have no projects or i have no experience.If i didn't get a chance to work where should i get experience. I need a trainee Engineer position. what should I do ?
I am currently in Rawalpindi. Should I move to Lahore or Karachi?

Dear Abdullah,
 
BS Computer system engineering well depends what u have studied in the degree, however it seems more related to sofware engineering and cmputer networks, if so than it is more suitable for u to look for Core networks operations jobs (Switch) rather than RF Engineering. HR practices are really pathetic in Pakistan even in multinational companies reference is the name of the game plus some stereo typing goes on as well, so it is possible people looking at your CV might not be calling you coz they might be thinking BS computer system engineering not suitable for RF engineering (as i said BS computer system engineering looks or appear to be more suitable for Core networks, however this is not the case). you can elaborate on ur CV about your understanding of RF engineering by mentioning courses studied such as wireless systems, signal processing etc.
 
 
however if you wish to change your mind and look for jobs in core networks, I would advise you to go for some kind of a certification like CCNA as core networks are moving towards IP based architecture such as 3GPP. core networks are getting quite complex, believe me it is more challenging than RF engineering.

Thank You Sir for your time and reply i ll try my best i have done CCNA and CCNP trainings , and Sir the name of our degree is
actually ECE electrical and computer engg just like in Lahore UET.it is
named computer engg in universities like LUMS/NUST/GIKI etc so its upto
univ to decide i think if all UETs fall under HEC and PEC they should name it ECE
...but then there is  the issue of personal grudges and supremacy of electr
deptt in UET peshawar.......I am trying my best and will soon Insha allah get entry in subcon for experience and i knew the starting years of every engineer's career is hard enough and i will also focus on networks but CISCO and Juniper is not widely used here in Pakistan. Thank You all for being so nice and replying to this post. stay blessed , have a wonderful goals ahead.See ya in the field.

try to get in touch with professionals working in prestigious organizations via linkedin. make an attractive profile on linkedin. do not come to karachi as conditions are also not good for telecom professionals. join job groups on linkedin keep applyinng online and search in newspaper.

- Provide Level-2 support to NOC surveillance and Regional NSS teams for
issue resolution.

- Consult with vendor for queries and solutions. Provide relevant logs

- Handle Service Desk Trouble tickets and resolve dial ability issues.
- Co-ordination with other mobile and PSTN operators for definition and
