[pakgrid] Post doc /researcher position in spatial database and data mining‏

 

The Business Analytics and Math Sciences Department at IBM T.J Watson Research Center is looking for highly motivated post doc fellows/researchers with expertise in spatial database, spatial data mining and GIS technologies. The candidate will join a team of researchers and software engineers performing research and devleoping smarter planet analytic solutions. 


Candidates must have strong background in spatial database mangement, data mining and GIS, have an excellent publication record and should have completed their PhD's in Computer Science from a top tier school. Candidate should also have strong programming skills - Java/Javascript/JSP/Dojo, and web technology, experience with database management and   performance (data modeling, SQL, JDBC, etc). Experience with GIS software, such as ArcGIS/openlayers is a highly preferred.
