If you pay your bill directly to Hughes, you're not a VAR customer. If you pay someone else (like RTC), then you are.

A VAR customer is someone who gets service through a value-added reseller. Who do you pay? Who do you call for support (if you call anyone)?
Theoretically a VAR can setup a token system. I think Mobilsat does. Motosat never did, and RTC has not so far.
