Students will learn PLC programming languages, HMI & SCADA Tagging and its properties as they progress at their own pace through exercises of increasing complexity. They will gain a working knowledge of digital and analog inputs and outputs, timers, counters, high speed instruction and advanced programming tools. Upon completion of the course the student is expected to be able design, specify, and install medium level PLC HMI systems and better understanding of SCADA and DCS systems, and to troubleshoot and diagnose problems
